This tasty shake is both travel and kid-friendly. It contains at least 10g of protein, 3g of fibre and 2.5g of heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids which makes for a great breakfast. You can freeze them in popsicle containers for a nice frosty snack.
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 banana (can be frozen)
3 Tbsp of hemp hearts
1 tsp of ground flaxseeds (1 Tbsp for adults)
1-2 Tbsp of pure cocoa powder
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp of pure maple syrup
Feel free to add berries, nut butters, coconut oil, spinach….
Add all ingredients to the blender and mix.
